The Negros Occidental Conference Ministerial Spouses' Association held its Continuing Education Level III and Graduation Ceremony with the theme "Stronger Together."
The continuing program took place on Oct. 3-4, 2025, at Negros Occidental Conference Worship Hall with 57 ministers' spouses.
The program began on Friday evening with an opening topic, "Strengthening Marriage Under Ministry Pressures," discussed by Melodie Mae Inapan, director of Family and Children's Ministries and coordinator of the Ministerial Spouses Association of the Central Philippine Union Conference.
She emphasized the significance of marriage relationships within the ministry. She noted that the strongest marriages in ministry are those grounded in Christ.
Additionally, she noted that if a love triangle exists within a marriage, Christ should be at its center. She also mentioned that the ministry should not create divisions between couples, as they are teammates in their work.
The Sabbath included spiritual emphasis and personal growth through lectures by Ruby Taganile, a retired U.S. registered nurse. She spoke about "The Importance of Inner Beauty in Enhancing Physical Appearance."
"Inner beauty has the power to captivate people. It originates from the heart and is fueled by the love of God," Taganile stated.
Her inspiring tips and experiences have touched the hearts of many. Her inspiring words encouraged the pastors' wives to continue shining for Christ and to persevere despite the challenges they face in their role as ministers' spouses.
Inapan, in another lecture, stated, "We all have different talents and gifts. God is a God of diversity, and He has given us these gifts to help us thrive. While we may experience idle seasons, these are also times for rooting and preparation."
"Bloom in your season. Live as a witness wherever you are. Remember, God placed you in your current situation for a reason," she added.
She emphasized that Joseph bloomed despite adversity. He flourishes because God is with him. Furthermore, she reminded that Joseph was faithful even in small things because God's timing is perfect.
Thirty-seven ministerial spouses had completed their training and received their certificates in the presence of Pastor Rene Inapan, CPUC treasurer, and Pastor Jophone Galanza, NOC President.
Meagan Galanza, NOC children and women's, and MSA director, was grateful to those who have contributed to the program's success.
"Let us continue to flourish and be a blessing to others," she said, encouraging the pastors' wives to stay strong and be the tough support their spouses need.
