Candijay, Bohol — A week-long health and gospel seminar with the theme “Tinubdan sa Tinood nga Paglaum” concluded at Purok 1, Tambongan, Candijay, Bohol. This initiative was organized by the church officers and members of the Tambongan Seventh-day Adventist Church, under the leadership of Pastor Aron Alolod, the district pastor.

Each night’s program was divided into two parts. The first part focused on health and wellness, featuring Elder Ariel Mapalo as the speaker. He shared practical lessons on healthy living through the NEW START principles — Nutrition, Exercise, Water, Sunlight, Temperance, Air, Rest, and Trust in God. Attendees learned the importance of maintaining a balanced lifestyle and caring for the body as God’s temple.

The second part of the program was the gospel seminar conducted by Elder Rudy Ayuban, which focused on Jesus Christ, His life, and His second coming. These nightly Bible-based messages inspired attendees and deepened their faith and hope in Christ.

While the adult seminar was ongoing, children also participated in their own learning activities through a Vacation Bible Experience using the Cactusville theme. Held in a nearby room, the children’s program drew 12 young attendees who actively participated in Bible stories, songs, games, and character-building activities.

The seminar recorded a total of 34 non-Adventist adult attendees throughout the week. Among them, two individuals expressed interest in baptism and will continue further Bible studies as they learn more about God’s word.

During the seminar's opening night, Barangay Councilor Mary Jean Tagupa and Purok President Bernard Besingga gave welcome remarks, expressing their support for the event.

Furthermore, to make the event more meaningful and engaging, giveaways were distributed to attendees nightly after the lectures. The seminar became not only a venue for learning about health and the gospel but also an opportunity for fellowship and community outreach.

Through this initiative, members of the Tambongan SDA Church have committed to continue to share Christ-centered hope and holistic healing with the community, reminding everyone that true hope can be found only in Jesus.
