The Eastern Bohol District recently conducted a series of evangelistic meetings that synced with the evangelistic calendar of the Central Visayan Conference. The events aimed to strengthen members’ faith and reach new individuals with the gospel message.
The continuous evangelistic series began on June 14–19, 2026, with the gospel meeting organized by the youth ministries department, followed by the simultaneous evangelism initiative by the Adventist-laymen’s Services and Industries (ASI), in collaboration with the Adventist Professionals’ initiatives from June 28 to July 4, 2026.
The most recent event was an evangelistic campaign led by the women’s ministries from July 19–24, 2026.
All twelve churches in the Eastern Bohol District participated in the meetings, taking turns sponsoring evening programs, providing participants, and serving refreshments to attendees. The cooperation among congregations highlighted a shared commitment to the church’s mission.
As a result of these meetings, 23 individuals accepted Jesus through baptism, while others expressed interest in continued Bible studies and pastoral visits. Weekly Bible studies are being conducted for those seeking to deepen their understanding of the Scriptures.
More evangelistic seminars are scheduled in the Eastern Bohol District for the remainder of 2026.
“To God be all the glory for His continued guidance, blessings, and the privilege of serving in His vineyard,” Pastor Jake Jabutay, Eastern Bohol District pastor, said. He added that he is very grateful to the brethren who are united and untiring in giving support to God’s work.
