MASBATE, Philippines — A province-wide simultaneous evangelistic crusade conducted by the Central Visayas Conference (CVC) administrators and directors yielded 160 baptisms across nine sites in Masbate from May 17 to 23, 2026.
The coordinated evangelism initiative involved seven CVC directors conducting their evangelistic meetings simultaneously during the week-long event, while two directors held their campaigns ahead of the official schedule to accommodate scheduling conflicts.
Following the evangelistic meetings, the individual baptismal counts from the newly designated administrators and departmental directors included Pastor Ceriaco Valencia with 45 baptisms, followed closely by Pastor Lelord Arranguez with 44, and Pastor Berdandino Maniego with 20.
Other participating ministers who concluded their campaigns during the same week were Pastor Romeo Ilustrisimo with 12 baptisms, Pastor Rogelio Edoloverio with 11, Pastor Anel Mahinay with seven, Pastor Clyde Potot with six, and Pastor Edgar Bojos with three.
Contributing to the mission’s overall success were Pastor Donato Barcenas and Pastor Isaias Guisando, who brought in nine and three baptisms, respectively, from their advanced campaigns.
Pastor Maniego, CVC president, expressed his joy and gratitude for the initiative’s turnout, thanking the CVC administrators, directors, and local church members and leaders across the nine sites who showed their support and enthusiasm for the work. “We praise God for granting us this victory. To Him be all the glory.”
