To strengthen territorial operations and mission goals, and to address leadership transitions across the territory, the East Central Philippine Union Conference (ECPUC) convened its first Executive Committee meeting of the year on Monday, Jan. 26, 2026.

The meeting included role realignments to fill the designations left vacant after the constituency-elected leaders were further reelected to take on other leadership roles.

The executive committee took formal action to fill these vital vacancies, drawing from ECPUC Administration Committee-elected leaders and from a pool of experienced leaders within the Central Philippines region:

Taking on one of the ECPUCโ€™s core administrative roles, Pastor Compuesto will move from his previous post as Field Secretary for Integrated Evangelism Lifestyle (IEL) and Nurture, Discipleship, and Retention (NDR) at the Central Visayan Conference. His background in field mobilization is expected to bring a fresh, mission-driven focus to the secretariat.

To assist in ECPUCโ€™s financial management team, Mandalupa has been chosen as the new associate treasurer. He previously served as treasurer of the Negros Oriental-Siquijor Mission (NSM) and will bring significant experience in local mission stewardship to the Union level.

Transitioning from his role as Station Manager of Hope Channel Central Philippines, Pastor Lauron will now spearhead missionary training and deployment. He will succeed Pastor Elly Abejero, who has been called to serve as the President of the Negros Oriental-Siquijor Mission (NSM).

Following Pastor Lauronโ€™s move, Pastor Luston will lead the ECPUCโ€™s media arm. Having served as the HCCP production head, he will bring broad knowledge of the stationโ€™s technical and creative workflows, making the transition for the networkโ€™s digital evangelism efforts easier.

These appointments come as ECPUC gears up for its 2026 Mission Reach initiatives.

The realignment emphasizes the churchโ€™s philosophy of “missionary flow,” where leaders are elected and repositioned to areas where their specific talents can best serve the growing needs of the constituency.

The ECPUC administration expressed deep gratitude to the outgoing leaders for their dedicated service and welcomed the new leaders with prayers for guidance and wisdom in their respective new spheres of influence.
